1. Who we are

Clothing Clarity is a reporting app for Shopify stores that sell clothing and footwear plus other retail merchandise. It is provided by The Software Development Corporation Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07027011), whose registered office is at Suite 301 - 304 Stanmore Business and Innovation Centre, Howard Road, Stanmore, England HA7 1FW. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean The Software Development Corporation Ltd.

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you:

We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number [ICO NUMBER]. If you have any questions about this policy call +44 20 3376 5888.

2. Our role

We handle personal data in two different roles.

As a controller: we decide how to use the personal data of our own customers (the merchants who install Clothing Clarity), people who contact us, and visitors to our website.

As a processor: when you install Clothing Clarity, we access data from your Shopify store on your behalf so we can produce your reports. Some of that data, such as the details on your orders, may relate to your own shoppers. For that data, you (the merchant) are the controller and we act only on your instructions. Our [Terms of Service / Data Processing Agreement] set out those instructions.

If you are a shopper at a store that uses Clothing Clarity, please contact that store with questions about your data. We will help the store respond.
